Why tyntec loves hackathons? We love how traditional tried-and-true tech such as SMS texting can spark fresh new ideas and applications. That’s how we built our own business anyway. Furthermore, when it comes to Female Tech Leaders Hackathon, it’s doubly special!! You see, tyntec is a female-led tech company! Yes, we’re one of those rare outliers with a female CEO. Need we say more? (Didn’t think so).
This time we want to talk about a really relevant, spearhead of tech topic: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. We are welcoming the following three fascinating speakers who will each reflect both their academic as well as their industrial experience in these fields.
Join us for our next Meetup and learn how TIBCO fuels digital businesses by enabling better decisions and faster, smarter actions. Learn more about what we have to offer, various roles in our organization and our program "Women Igniting TIBCO”.

The FTL Hackathons Team, in partnership with Magazino, would like to invite you to our first ever meetup, where we'll dive into how robots can solve real-world logistical problems in warehouses.
For our upcoming Speaker Night in July 23rd at Freeletics, we have come up with something very special for you: Instead of the usual talks, there will be a panel discussion on the overarching theme of company culture. Our goal is to clarify the term and to figure out how different companies implement culture into their daily business.
Traveling is more fun when done with friends. At Holidu, friendship and community are important to us as well, so we would love to hear your ideas for new social search functions. This is the first challenge for you in this Hackathon. We define “social search” as searching for and booking vacation rentals together in a group.
The goal of FTL Programming Courses is to provide you with an easy and comprehensive introduction to programming and to equip you with the fundamental skills necessary to achieve your coding goals.
Our very first Speaker Night of 2018 is coming and everyone is invited! This time it will be all about female entrepreneurship and female-run startups! As it is our mission to strengthen the eco-system for women in tech and leadership, one of our core focuses is to highlight female founders!
We are very excited to announce another FTL collaboration with Google! This time, we are hosting a workshop focused on the “Technical Interview” at the Google office in Munich. This workshop will be tailored to both students and industry professionals who have a background in computer science or related subjects/fields. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the recruitment process, and how best to prepare for coding interviews at tech companies like Google.

Please be advised that emails to all confirmed and registered participants were sent out yesterday. Everyone who applied should have gotten an email from us. If you have not heard anything, please contact emily@femaletechleaders.org.
At FTL, it is our heart to help create and endorse a growing number of female role models, advocate a more equal gender ratio in the start-up and tech scene, and awake an interest in young women to join STEM fields.
At the last two Speaker Nights (one, two), we have welcomed female founders and great women who have shown impressive career paths at renowned companies. We are going to change things up a bit this time. The December Speaker Night will consist of Tech Talks. Our goal is to bring the scientific and technological achievements of outstanding women to light. For that, we have invited two remarkable women who are currently conducting research at the Technical University Munich.
Our “Getting Started with Machine Learning” Hackathon, hosted at Experteer, aims at engaging participants in an intense, two-night event, where teams of four dive into pattern prediction and problem solving. If you’re interested in coding together and learning by doing, or if you’re a seasoned ML guru who wants to contribute, apply today to be a participant or a mentor!
Analysts to Principals from both next47 and Unternehmertum Venture Capital Partners will share their insights into this industry. A general introduction will shed light on what is going on in the VC scene when it comes to women role models. After that follows a hands-on practice session during which you will be able to conduct a short case study to understand what a quick review of a start-up idea may look like. Followed by insights from two women venture capitalists reflecting on their way into the industry and on their careers. Towards the end, there will be a Q&A session.
At Female Tech Leaders, we believe that one of the best ways to get more women to join (and stay) in STEM fields is by exposing them to the leading role models of their industry. Munich does not have a strong female representation of the tech scene yet, but we are here to change that. Join us, as we spend an evening of inspiring talks with three industry experts, then close up with food, drinks and networking!
Silicon Drinkabout is a weekly event series that brings you behind the startup scenes in town and for a special event, Female Tech Leaders is joining forces with our friends at Silicon Drinkabout Munich for a fun night of networking and exchange. Get connected to the community - no matter whether you founded your own startup, work or want to work in the startup ecosystem or think about starting your own business. Feel free to join us :-)
