Female Tech Leaders Speaker Night - Inspire Series: Thriving Women Who Rock...

  • Personio Rundfunkplatz 4 Munich Germany (map)

Come, listen and leave inspired!

For our eighth (yes, time flies) Speaker Night, we wanted to do things a little differently than usual and came up with a more personal format for you. This time we would like to invite four bright and successful women on stage to Lightning Talks. Come and join us when we experience their paths with them, listen as they share their lives, career choices, stumbling blocks and learnings with us.

For this speaker night we are inviting you to Personio’s Office. Let’s get together for an informative and fun evening on July 3rd. As always there is a chance to connect and mingle afterwards!

Details about our Speakers:

Dr. Jutta Kling

Jutta Kling (PhD) works as the Deputy Head of MaibornWolff’s recently established Collaborative Enterprise Architecture division. In that position she not only contributes to MaibornWolff's service portfolio by promoting and strengthening an exciting field of activity, but also provides employees the chance to work on topics they feel passionate about. Through years of project-based work she has built expertise especially in the fields of Requirements Engineering and Project Management, most recently with a focus on Lean Management (Kanban).

Before joining MaibornWolff nearly four years ago, Jutta completed her dissertation in the field of Comparative Literature, dealing with concepts of irony and queerness in 19th century literature. In her daily work, she uses this non-technical background as her "superpower", proving once more that a linear path is not necessary to be successful.

Besides literature she is passionate about banana bread, running half-marathons, and Berlin.

Katharina Friesen

Katharina Friesen is a Program Manager at Personio GmbH with a business engineering background. At Personio she runs strategic management projects and leads a product team. She started her journey two years ago in the fast growing Startup as a Principal Product Manager.

Before joining Personio, Katharina served as an Agile Coach, IT Project Manager and a Product Lead at multiple IT consultancies.

She has many years of experience building online products, seeing them fail and succeed. In recent years, Katharina has led data analytics projects, developed data-driven products, lead mobile app implementations and executes with her Co-Organizers the ProductTank in Munich.

Dr. Johanna Schönberger

Johanna Schoenberger (PhD) is founder and CEO of DADORA, a start up for AI-based digital market research. DADORA enables creative professionals and innovation leaders (working for corporations such as Adidas, Jaguar Land Rover or Versicherungskammer Bayern) to develop innovative products and services without being worn out by (corporate) processes. By identifying user needs for any given topic DADORA provides creative professionals with the required data base for agile & user centered development.

Johannas has a creative background herself. As industrial designer she did a PhD on „Strategic Design“ with professor Hartmut Esslinger and worked for companies such as frog design or BMW Group. Having experienced the dynamics of big corporations Johanna knows how difficult / impossible it can be to bring innovative ideas to fruition despite slow moving corporate processes and structures. In her talk Johanna will speak about her path from being a notorious creative to founding a company mostly dealing with Big Data and highly structured thinking.

Monica Giambitto

In love with Ruby and Rails elegance and simplicity since 2011, Monica Giambitto has been the Backend Lead Engineer at Freeletics GmbH for a year. Previously she has worked as Backend Engineer at Freeletics and in fintech, and as a Web Developer in her freelancing past. A proud member of the Ruby and Rails community, she contributes to it by randomly MCing conferences across Europe (Euruko 2016, Italian Ruby Day 2016, Ruby on Ice 2018, Partial::Conf 2018, Ruby on Ice 2019, Italian Ruby Day 2019).

She is passionate about testing, the people side of our industry, and building bridges between engineers and the business people, she strongly believes in connecting people and diversity in equality.

She is an avid reader of almost all topics and genres, a foodie and amateur baker, a videogamer since she can remember, definitely a cat person,  and a sport person despite her resistance.

She tweets on and off very opinionated things at @KFMolli.
